One of the assignments I will have tis summer is manning Dismal Nitch, a location where the Lewis and Clark Expedition spent six days in the most deplorable conditions. They were wind bound on a shear rock face on the north shore of the Columbia River. Ginny and I went over there today for some trianing. I found it very exciting. This is my friend Larry Cooper. He knows a lot of stuff and is great to talk with.
