We are visiting our friends the Olsons who live on Lake Sammamish near Seattle. We started out our visit doing one of my favorite things: visiting an art museum (yeah, right, one of my favorite things). This was the Tacoma Art Museum. For you art freaks out there, Tacoma is the home of this guy Chihuly, a really famous glass blower. Naturally, they have a ton of his stuff. One of the exhibits was actually interesting to me. There was an interior courtyard with all these colored glass spheres on a curved surface. Kinda reminded me of one of those high tension thinker physicist's representation of the universe with gravitational waves and all that stuff. Anyway, there were neat reflections off the glass. I thought this was sorta cool and artsy fartsy. It is dedicated to my artsy fartsy friend chempilot.
