I was back in Hillsboro for a couple of days. Ginny's dad and I went over the the garage in Cornelius to pick up his Crown Victoria. They have three cars. Maintenance is not their long suit. All three of them needed work. When we were driving back from the coast in the Olds, it stalled and wouldn't go. Ginny's dad mentioned that had happened several times. They had to send for a tow truck once. We got the darn thing going and limped back to the farm. It went to the garage and came back with some minor changes which did not solve the problem. It came down to the fact that he needed to spend some money. With all three cars on the fritz he got to spend quite a bit of money. At least now they won't break down out in the sticks. I am down with that because I am borrowing one of them to travel back and forth to the coast. Now in the old days, a new condenser and a set of points cured just about all ills. And you could do it yourself.
