There are quite a few birds in the Galapagos. Of course, there are all those finches that Darwin described. The three varieties of boobies are well known. It is an environment where you can do a lot of photography because the birds are unafraid of humans for the most part. The little birds are the hardest because they just won't sit still. I wish I had a lot more time to look for the vermillion flycatcher (a rare one) because it liked to dart around just a little bit farther away than the 400 mm would really like. I really am not a birder by any means, certainly not like Rich and Christiane. But I do like photographing them. This was fun.
