Around Quito

We spent several days around Quito and the nearby towns. Of course, we had to visit the equator and a market or two. We saw the Folkloric Ballet (folk dancing) which was actually pretty good in my mind. I would never voluntarily go to some dance thing on my own, but Ginny thought it would be fun. We took the Teleferico (tramway) to the top of the mountain and had a great (cold!) view of the city. Quito is very large and in a long valley.

A great record in pictures John, obviously a good trip. Friends are going to the Galapagos at Christmas and I told them you had a very enjoyable time.
