Parents usually write homework’s for their children because; students are never in mood to complete their help to write essay assignments and homework’s. Thus, to make them do their homework regularly parents must inculcate some good habits in them. Good habits will make your child bright and he will not fuss to do his homework. The best method is to prepare a time table and place it in such a way that both you and the child see it regularly and then you could accordingly do the assignments. Make them work on subjects in which they are weak because practice only makes a man perfect.

· If he has been given an assignment to work on from school tell him to start working on it from day one as that will help him find more details and information from books. Internet, journals etc.
· Encourage your child to visit the school or college library for reference purpose. They could find a wide range of different books there. Libraries are made to be used for studying or completing assignments so make full use of it.
· Give him frequent practice tests so that he improves in the subject he is weak in. give him or her dictation test as that is very important. After the test make her correct her own test so that she herself comes to know where she does a mistake.
· Help your child to avoid last minute changes and preparations as that will make him or her tensed. Last minute tensions come only when you haven’t prepared for that particular assignment from the beginning. Thus, it’s always suggested to start any project, or studies right from the beginning.
· Guide your child on how to take test. Tell them to be relaxed while giving test and concentrate on the questions asked in the test. Make her understand that instructions are very important and must be read carefully before attempting the paper.
· If you want to check whether your child has really understood a specific problem or sum make them explain as to how to solve the problem then even you will have a confidence that your child ahs understood the problem well.
· Maintaining homework assignment folders will also motivate your child to do his work on a regular basis.
· Praising your child is very important. Always encourage him for the work he has done. If your child scores less marks in his test do not discourage him in fact, ask him to study well the nest time and encourage him by telling that he has that potential to do extremely well as he is very intelligent.
