Mexene Chili Powder, old can

And still my default, go-to chili powder when I'm making chili from scratch. Otherwise, I use Wick Fowler's 2-Alarm Chili kit as a starting point.

Guest, I hope you don't believe all advertising. There is no rule that says chili has to be hot. And chili made with Mexene chili powder is not hot unless you add cayenne chile powder, or s some other heat source, like serrano peppers. Granted, most chili has some heat, from a little to a lot, depending on one's taste. When I was younger I liked my chili much hotter than I do now.

Thanks for your comment, and don't let my picture scare you away from chili.

Take care.

John, this is the first time I've seem this one. I like the image but I'm not likely to be trying the chili powder. If it's got the Devil on it, it's hot.
