These two peaks are The Castle (left) and The Pinnacle of the Tatoosh range as seen from the parking lot at Paradise, Mount Rainier National Park. I climbed both of these peaks several times when I was younger. Good memories.

The fog rolled in at dusk over Offut Lake near Olympia, Washington. This is the view from my father's front window. What a lucky guy!

A Mid-February sunset lit up the trees in a wonderful orange glow at the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge.

The dairy barns also took on that magic orange glow and made this familiar scene seem more real, and more surreal, than any other time that I have seen it.

The dark skies added a dramatic effect to an already beautiful scene and said to me "Take this seriously. This is your world. This is where you live everyday, but you don't always see the beauty of it happening before you." Well now I am starting to believe. Seeing the world this way is a gift and I love the idea that I can capture it for the moment and share it here for all the world to see.
