Animal Portraits

I truly enjoy capturing images of birds and animals, wherever I can find them. Many of the creatures here, as noted, are residents of a local wildlife park. All others were just lucky enough to have wandered freely in front of my lens. I am grateful to all of them for being kind enough to allow me to capture their image for all to see.

I have taken as you have demonostrated, many very nice images from NW Trek over the years with my many grand children and also have used these trips to introduce photography into their lifes ...Have bought about 11 entry level cameras to date...when their cards are full they come over for a day and we process and print...These parks serve as a wonderful place , as you know, to view and photograph species many of us cannot see in the wild...Thanks for the gallery I enjoyed it Al

While there's nothing quite like capturing animals in the wild, wildlife parks are enjoyable places to experience and enjoy a special relationship with the subject. They're usually able to be followed over time unlike the fleeting encounters with many wild animals. So kudos to you for sharing these!
