Taken from the boardwalk at the arboretum last month
This Red-tailed Hawk was perched on a branch directly above a male Mallard that was swimming around in a small open patch of water.
I watched it for about ten minutes and it looked like he was going to go after the Mallard a couple of times but he took off landing about twenty feet behind me
