Scanned from a damaged aerial photograph from WW1
Unfortunately the grid reference is missing so I'm unable to determine the location, it is a distance from the front lines as there are no trenches or shell craters. Taken on 15 Jan 1918
There is a reference to Richmond however the British used the Richmond designation for several trenches, woods, crossroads etc. across the Western Front
