Pioneering American photographer Mathew B Brady (born sometime between 1822 and 1824, died 1896) he remembered mostly for his Civil War photographs and celebrity portraits.
Photo by L C Handy (1855 - 1932) who started his apprenticeship with Brady when he was twelve years old, he was also Brady's nephew by marriage.
