Victoria Skating Rink in Montreal, The rink was opened in 1862 and demolished in 1925
It played a pivotal role in the development of hockey in Canada, in 1875 the first indoor hockey game was held there, Lord Stanley (of cup fame) saw his first ice hockey game there in 1889, the first Stanley Cup playoffs were held there in 1894.
There is no indication as to what team the players in the photo belong to but it doesn't look like the Canadiens uniform of the era.
