The Roman Baths, Bath, England
The site of the baths predate the Roman era, it was a sacred spring dedicated to the Celtic goddess Sulis.
A roman temple was built on the site circa 70 CE dedicated to Sulis who the Romans identified with Minerva, the baths and the town that grew around the temple was named Aquae Sulis
