A view of Warwick Castle featuring Caesar's Tower
The original fortification on the site was a wooden motte and Bailey structure built by the Normans in 1068, this was replaced with a stone building in the 12th century with several additions taking place during the 14th century.
Caesar's Tower was completed in 1360
