Titled "Roma. Scala Sancta" which are a set of twenty eight marble steps which are located in Rome
By Catholic tradition the are the steps from the praetorium of Pontius Pilate in Jerusalem which were brought to Rome in 236 CE.
They are a major pilgrim site where the pilgrims are required to climb the steps on their knees.
