The 40-gun steam-powered armoured frigate HMS Warrior
Commissioned in 1861 she served with the Channel Squadron until 1875 when she was placed in the reserve being decommissioned in 1883.
She subsequently served as a store ship and torpedo training school before being converted to a floating oil jetty in 1927, she remained in that roll until 1979 at which point it was decided to restore her to her original condition. She opened as a museum ship in Portsmouth in 1987 and is currently still there.
