Flower class corvette HMCS West York
Launched in Midland, Ont. in 1944 and saw service escorting Atlantic convoys until being paid off in July 1945
Sold in 1945 she was converted for civilian use and sailed as SS West York, Registered in Morocco in 1947 she was renamed Moulay Bouchaib, Registered in Italy in 1950 as Espresso then back to Canada again as the SS Federal Express
She sunk in Montreal in 1960 after being accidently rammed while tied up at dock.
