A shot of a Curtiss C-46 Commando transport with a P-40 Warhawk in the background.
The C-46 entered service as a transport in 1941 with some remaining in service until the 1960's with over 3000 being built.
While not as popular as the C-47 (over 10,000 built) it was slightly faster, had more range and could carry 50% more payload, unfortunately it was difficult to maintain
