A view of a portion of a Canal Near Bruges taken by the the RAF on 21st of August 1918.
Looking closely at the photograph three warships and several barges can be seen on the canal, just below the canal on the right hand side a white circle with a cross can be seen, this would have been used to identify the adjacent buildings as a hospital.
At this time Bruges was under German control.
