General Montgomery (pos Field Marshal by this time) pinning a medal on the chest of a soldier from a Scottish regiment.
Unfortunately there was no information with the photograph, if Monty was presenting the medal personally it must have been a significant award. Looking closely the soldier has a dressing on his neck.
