A view of the battleship USS Iowa (BB-4) captained by "Fighting Bob" Evans.
The USS Iowa was commissioned in 1897 and saw action during the Spanish-American War including the Battle of Santiago de Cuba.
During WW1 she was used as a training ship and was sunk in 1923 when used as a target in the evaluation of aerial bombing.
