Title on photo "Roma. Casa di Cola di Rienzi"
The common name for the building was the result of an error in attribution being attributed to Nicola Gabrini (1313 - 1354) known as Cola di Rienzo. It was in fact the Casa dei Crescenzi built between 1040 and 1065 by Nicola dei Crescenzi.
It is the oldest medieval building in Rome.
