From a discoloured press photo dated 12 Sept 1943.
It shows the first Canadian built Lancaster arriving in England.
This Lancaster KB-700 flew on it's first two missions with 405 Squadron and the remainder with 419 Squadron.
On returning from it's forty ninth mission it suffered a hydraulic failure and ran off the end of the runway and was destroyed, the crew survived.
KB-700 was due to return to Canada after completing fifty missions....
