From a badly faded image, the sign above the door states "Wm Muckart, Spirits & Ales"
Doing a search I could only find one establishment with this name, it was located in Brechin in Scotland in 1887 and 1888, it was also known as the Plough, the photo style subject correspond to this date.
A large embossed No 74 can be seen on the left if the picture.
