The big Brown Trout.

Gore, Southland.

The town of Gore is 64 kilometres northeast of Invercargill and 70 km west of Balclutha – Dunedin and Invercargill are the nearest cities.

Gore is famous for Hokonui moonshine, The big trout and the New Zealand Gold Guitar awards, where they play both types of music, Country & Western.
