Burlington Street, Dunedin

Dunedin

I grew up in London & left to travel in 1972.
I arrived in New Zealand in 1974 for a working holiday.
Arriving in Dunedin I had an overwhelming feeling of being home.
Over the past 40 years South Island & Dunedin have become my special place.

Really wonderful plaque. I love the idea of perpetuating the poem. Your photo is so good with the dark, mysterious mood. V
I moved away to Texas in 1981, and I understand how it feels to choose to live in the place where you feel "at home" more that you did... at home.

Well done B&W! We all need that special place to go and rejuvenate.

And we allowed you to stay here too. Must have known you were gonna take really good photos of the South Island... and the North too.

affairs of the heart can be fleeting...sometimes a wry resignation trots on the heels of a passing glance..
