The best scenic road in New Zealand.
The road to Milford Sound is frought with danger.
Frequent avalanches in winter. An average rainfall of seven meters a year but the most danger
comes from rubber-necking tourists driving at five kph whilst making movies on their iPhones.

I remember my first time here. It was an August and all was covered with snow, luckily I was not driving myself.V.
