The Yates range
The tyre wall was used for catching stray shot.
This was designed for a special use, and never used for it.
Left of butts , never used
Never used.
The old range used for .22 rifle only.
Targets on the 50m range.
Those trees were 10 inches tall when I planted them.
The Yates 50m range. Named after the man who organised and did a lot of the work to build the range.
Vandals' got past security.
I get the grass looking good sometimes.
Plenty of sunshine keeps the grass green.
Autumn has started.
The old Yates range still has the doors on.
All the doors gone now.
The sun drops lower late in the year.
Clay targets make a lovely mess.
Shotgunners leave a lot of detritus.
Late in the year.
Looking green.
Another tree eating lead.
A million leaves and more to come
Inside the firing points hut. All the doors on the front have now been removed
The left side bank. Looks a horrible mess
Inside the firing Points hut.
This tree has been Eating Lead
Yates range from the firing point
