I remember David Elmstrom. Anyone remember me drop by and say hi, it would be good to catch up. Joined the RN directly after leaving the Arethusa after 3 years aboard from 1970-1973 and had a varied career in diverse fields of work. Simon Oakden

i was on her 1950/52 then MN TO 1961,EMIGRATED TO NZ ,DONE HT MASTERS TICKETS,TOWED OIL RIG PENROD 74 SOUTH NZ DOWN TO 50 DEGREES SOUTH ,10 HOLES ALL TOLD,,,,THEN TUGMASTER NAPIER TILL RETIREMENT 1996 BLOOD CLOT NOW IN HEREVY BAY AU SINCE 2004

I was on the Arethusa in 1955 went on to join the Merchant Navy at 16 yrs old,then had the best 12yrs of my life. Loved it.
