That's the Captain's Quarters, cabin boy's enterance left of the ladders, kitchen on the right, bathroom on the left, Captain and family entrance far right. Skylights are above the Church/lower Quarterdeck and sickbay. Taken before 1953 hence "Fear God and Honour the KING"

I was on Arethusa from Sept 57-May 1959...Middle port No 98.Left to join Royal Navy at ST VINCENT...Great time,sleeping in hammock,over the mast before breakfast,Barefooted...Remember hollystoning quaterdeck...I remember weekends climbing out along the yardarm and sitting in the sun watching the thames barges going bye.Didn,t do me any harm.
