One mile off shore.

Leysdown beach, isle of Sheppey.

Leysdown beach is 1 mile behind me. If I walk another few miles straight out I might get deep enough to swim.
The distance between the rings of precious metal (Gold and Silver) on my walking stick are based on a very old secret measurement system, used by the family that built Stonehenge.

Dave, using imperial measures, the whole stick is slightly under 4 foot long.

Larry, Walking sticks are extremely personal objects, you have to design and build it yourself. Under no cicumstances accept one as a gift, this is bad luck of the worst kind.
