The car park at Runnymede.

Runnymede, near Windsor.

For most of my life this car park was always open, 24/7.
Never a problem, grass was always ok.
Then the National Trust obtained it. Now you pay a lot of money to park. It is closed at night, you have to leave in the evening. It is closed totally in winter months.
No more watching sunsets. No more night fishing. No more winter trips. No more strolling along the river bank with your sweetheart as the day fades to night.
I hate the national trust, they destroy our life to make money.
This is why you will hear old people talk about "The Good Old Days".
