Finally, cost Ł100 to fill my fuel tank on my van

A garage

When I started motoring I could fill the fuel tank on my car for about Ł3
I could buy 4 gallons of petrol for Ł1 and get some change
This was about 1961, in the good old days

Here as well, however I remember the minimum hourly wage was only about 1 USD in 1961. Still.... didn't seem so bad then
