Me in the middle with the scarf.
At age 16 on my BSA Gold Star, 500cc single cylinder.
Very close ratio gear box, about 80mph in first gear, 90mph in second gear, 100mph in third gear, speed in fourth varied depending on conditions. I thought I was a very good rider, superb even. By the time I reached 17 years old I realised I was not going to live much longer because of how I rode it.
So I changed to a car. and here I am 62 years later. Sometimes I made good decisions.
