I've just had a three day stay in a large all inclusive hotel. I could not believe the people who came into the restaurant with backpacks. They are the new must have fashion accessory.

Kingston, ON, in the frozen north, is a university town almost everyone in the downtown area has a backpack or is retired. Sometimes both.
