They always put a marker before a landing.

London

I was asleep when the marker appeared, my detector sounded an alarm, I was a bit slow but I snatched a camera to get a shot of the marker, But I was way too slow to catch the landing.

Dave, it is a never ending battle, I build a detector, they change their "Stealth" program so they dont register.
So I build a new detector, etc, etc.
Cant use mains power for obvious reasons.
Battery life is and has always been a problem, but it is all we have.
Absolutely nothing about this landing has shown up.
Hope they have not started a false alarm program, that will really drain our resources.

John, if you "snatched a camera," it means that the batteries in your Alien Activity Image Recording Device (AAIRD) had lost their charge and you were forced to resort to manual operation of a camera. This raises questions about your level of preparedness. We cannot hope to win a battle against the invading hordes from another galaxy if critical batteries are dead.
Do you have any news about the landing?

If you see a landing Tom, walk away, fast, pretend you aint seen them, you will be safe.

I've seen those same markers here but probably have also missed the landings ... now that I know what it is, I'll be more vigilant (maybe)
