4. This is depressing work.

Coopers boat yard.

In my my quest for a zero cost boat, I have have used some free wood for the planking.
I was given some boxes of discarded Tongue Depressors, they were found in a skip outside an NHS building.
They are a hard wood, extremely smooth finish, all exactly the same size.
Being short I am laying them like bricks, every joint overlapped by a full length.
I have no idea if this will work, but it seems worth the effort so far.
If it does not work this boat will get a Viking funeral, will be impossible to take them off.

other sizes: small medium large auto

Beautiful work, John. Maybe depressing work, but my tongue feels liberated.
