The Sheppey bridge.

I wonder why they built the bridge on the curve.
There is nothing on the land either side of the bridge.
It could have gone straight all the way to the link roads each side.

There is a fantastic view from the bridge. If you are not driving, you could close your eyes, it only takes a few minutes to get over. The old bridge is still there, I have no idea if you can still use it to drive on.

How much of a view is there when you drive over it? I don't do heights!!!! Can you still use the old bridge?

John, I came back over it, it is finished, you can trust me on that. A lovely view from up there. They should have built a viewing platform on the top. John

Perhaps they ordered too much concrete John. I'm glad they finished it tho, otherwise that lorry driver is in for a shock. john
