Synchronized grounding

Richmond Lock view map

Both boats are aground. This is a very popular spot for running aground, twice a day the water gets so shallow I could walk across the river.
There is no form of training or licensing required to skipper a boat on the River Thames.
Perhaps this should change.

Exzim, it was mud, not rocks. Always look on the bright side of life.

John, in order to skipper any form of powered boat in Canada you have to pass a test. However, it didn't stop me from hitting a mud bank in Toronto harbour
