Susan, thanks for the favourable comments. Macro does take a lot of patience, I'm only a beginner really and I have a lot to learn. I can't really say how I get that close, I just move in very slowly, it's a very hit and miss affair. You have to be prepared to take lots of photos and not that many turn out keepers.
