I have had 12th August marked in my diary since winter and what happens less than 30 minutes before the eclipse starts... cloud moves in at about 5-30pm and clears at around 8.45pm. In cloudless conditions I would have taken lots of photos, I did my best to get some shots when the cloud opened usually only for a second or two. This is the only one worth saving but I had to work on it though.
