This dragonfly looks to me like a young male Uracis spec. Not blue yet, but also the wing pattern isn't fully formed yet. What is visible of the wing pattern puzzles me though...
It looks a little bit like the dark part of the wing won't go all the way to the wing tip, but it is hard to be sure. If it does extend to the wingtip, it might be U. fastigiata, but the dark part extends to the wing nodus, much further than on all the other presumed male U. fastigiata in this area. Check www.pbase.com/johanvantbosch/uracis_fastigiata
If it doesn't extend to the wingtip, it might be U. siemensi or U.infumata, but from the specimen photos on www.ups.edu/x6290.xml it seems that the dark area on this individual extends further towards the wingtip...
Any suggestions?
