These birds gave some confusion early on, as they both largely lacked yellow tones. Both birds were almost mirror images of one another and were fighting repeatedly. The bold eyering, shortish primary projection, and round head gave a Least Flycatcher impression at times, but the lack of contrast between throat and malar, greenish coloration above, and bill that seems a bit too long for a Least Flycatcher indicate that these are dull YBFLs.
