Long-billed Curlew (with American Avocets, etc.)

From observation tower at Jekyll Island Visitor Center along Jekyll Island causeway very early in a receding tide. In GA, Long-billed Curlews are typically found only on a few undisturbed beaches of the barrier islands in winter. Digiscoped at 60x with point-and-shoot at full zoom. High wind, low light, and long distance made photography difficult.
