Tall Stacks - Steamboats Gathering in Cincinnati - Covington
Cincinnati, Covington, and Newport have developed a wonderful area of entertainment with walkway bridges and walking paths on the river so both sides of the river can entertwine with entertainment. Tall Stacks is also a Music and Heritage Festival and along with the gathering of steamboats, music and entertainment also give a glimpse of the 1800's. This year offered 47 national acts including Al Green, Buddy Guy, Marcia Ball, Charlie Musslewhite. The event has been scheduled every 3 years since 1988, and seems to be getting better with each event. While mid-day is not the bast time for picture taking I hope you can get a feel for the event.
