When visiting Venice last May, I was overwhelmed by the imagery. The masks, glasswork and landscape are visions I will forever have in my mind. I brought home three carnivale masks, but could easily have brought home several dozen. This concept was inspired by my time in Venice as well as by the Cirque du Soleil. The imagery involving the glowing orbs came to me while watching the show. For me, the aura of Cirque du Soleil an Venice seems mystical, surreal, playful and just a little beyond imagination.
