I had wanted to photograph inside a hut but had not made a relationship with one of the men well enough to ask. So I went over and started taking pictures of them playing volleyball. Nazarano was standing there and we started chatting. He asked if I had taken pictures of the mountains, or anything else around the village. I said, no, that I hadn't even been out of the central area of the village, no mountains, not even a casa (house). After a moment Nazareno asked if I would like to see his house.
This photo is of the inside of Nazareno's bamboo and grass hut. The floor is bare, with only the cooking fire in the middle. The family (two adults, three children) sleep on the platform.
