Delighted to see this portfolio. Looks like of all the places in the US, the Sandlhills may have changed the least. Visited the area about 20 years ago after reading all of Mari's books (which I still have). Glad to see the orchard is still there. I'd guess her sister has now passed on. We went down to the Spade Ranch which was as tame as could be (compared to what it was in the days of Jules). Thanks for posting!
