A memorial to UA Flight 93

On the morning of September 11, 2001 four terrorists overtook the pilots of United Airline Flight 93. But the brave passengers, who had learned of the other terrorist attacks, would not let these evil men carry out their plans. Using the onboard airphones, they spoke of their own plan to overtake the terrorists. Their brave actions prevented the terrorists from carrying out their plans to destroy the U.S. Capitol. This gallery includes pictures of the temporary memorial to honor and remember these brave men and women.
